Inchelium Red is a Native American Heirloom Garlic. It was first discovered in the 1980's growing on the Colville Indian Reservation in Washington State.

It's popularity has continually increased after it was declared the Winner of the 1990 Rodale garlic taste contest. The flavor is balanced and not very spicy.

Taste: Rich, mild, lingering

Inchellium Red will produce good yields in various soil types and climates (Heat Tolerant).
Growing Guide: Best planted in the fall for a summer harvest. It prefers well-drained soil and full sun. Inchelium Red is hardy and can withstand cooler temperatures.
The large cloves are easy to peel and are perfect for an array of culinary applications, from roasting to fresh salads.
